Western Regional Waste Management Service Board Elects Josh Carey, Chair and Barbara Barter, Vice-Chair

Corner Brook, NL – Western Regional Waste Management (WRWM) today announced the election of Josh Carey as chair of the Western Regional Service Board and Barbara Barter as vice-chair. The elections took place at their board meeting on January 11, 2018. Carey and Barter will serve in their respective positions over a 4-year term effective immediately.
Josh Carey currently serves as a councillor with the City of Corner Brook and has worked in the Provincial Public Service for over 30 years. Barbara Barter is a councillor for the Town of Burgeo and has served in past roles including councillor, deputy mayor, and mayor over the past twelve years.

Free October Residential Drop Off

Western Regional Waste Management is offering FREE Residential Only Drop off for the entire month of October (1st -31st) at the Wild Cove and Bay St. George facilities.

Residential card holders will still be required to scan their WRWM cards for data management purposes only.
