WILD COVE OPERATIONS UPDATE

Corner Brook, NL, 5 Jun 2026 – The Western Regional Service Board, operators of Western Regional Waste Management, announces the closure of Wild Cove transfer station to residential and commercial drop-off.

Due to a fire on the face of the landfill which started at approximately 10PM last evening, WRWM wishes to advise the general public that Wild Cove will be closed to residential and commercial drop-off until further notice. Municipal waste collection received from curbside will not be affected by this announcement.
