A Cleaner Future Starts Today
The Western Newfoundland Waste Management Region spans from Bellburns in the north to Ramea in the south and extends east to White Bay and is divided into seven wards (sub-regions).
The Bay St. George Sub-Region includes the communities of Gallants to Bay St. George South, including Stephenville and the Port au Port Peninsula.
The Burgeo-Ramea Sub-Region includes the communities of Burgeo, Ramea, Grey River and Francois.
The Corner Brook Sub-Region includes the City of Corner Brook, communities on the north and south shore of Bay of Islands and Humber Valley communities.
The Long Range Sub-Region includes communities from Bellburns to Norris Point.
The Southwest Coast Sub-Region includes communities from Coal Brook to Rose Blanche-Harbour Le Cou.
The Western Hills Sub-Region includes communities in Bonne Bay South, Howley and Deer Lake and surrounding area.
The White Bay South Sub-Region includes the communities of Jackson’s Arm, Sop’s Arm, Pollard’s Point, Hampden and The Beaches.
